Exclusive: First look at Amazon’s Lake Nona mega project

A deeper dive into Orange County records yielded some more information about — and images of — Seattle-based Amazon.com Inc.’s planned $120 million, 2.3 million-square-foot fulfillment center in Lake Nona.

An aerial rendering designed by Atlanta-based MacGregor Associates Architects shows a first look at the industrial distribution warehouse, beyond the engineering renderings we’ve seen so far.

The 50-foot-tall warehouse will be composed of concrete tilt walls with textured coating and have aluminum storefront windows and metal composite canopies, according to the plans. The facility will include 2,500 parking spaces, 36 handicap spaces and eight motorcycle parking spaces.
